Geely to acquire QJiang, boosting motorcycle business

Gasgoo.com (Shanghai June 12th)– Geely Holding Group confirmed that it will acquire QJiang Motor and leverage the latter as a platform to integrate and develop motorcycle business, announced by the group on June 11th.

Geely plans to make major adjustment in QJiang Motor’s main business structure in 12 months and boost the sales of the company to 10 billion yuan within 5 years.

The group’s spokesman Yang Xueliang said Geely, which has rich experience in motorcycle business itself, trusts the capability and management team of QJiang Motor and hopes to further improve the company’s competitiveness with Geely’s international management. Besides, QJiang Motor’s exploration in high-tech fields such as intelligent robotics also aligns with Geely.

To be noted, Yang reveals that, by now no contract has been signed yet.
