Shanghai. January 22 (Gasgoo.com) –The European Union finally gives approval to two Chinese automakers to sell their car in Europe, local Chinese newspaper reported this morning.

China's Zhejiang Jonway's UFO and Shuanghuan Automobile's CEO had received approval from the EU to go on sale in Europe, said Beijing Business Daily.

In a Reuters report, German importer China Automobile Deutschland said it will start to sell the two models in Europe next month.

The models are controversial because their appearance is similar to rivals. The UFO looks like the Toyota RAV4 sport utility vehicle (SUV) and the CEO resembles the BMW X5 SUV, the report said.
