Cummings to start engine production facility in Wuhan

Shanghai. January 22 (Gasgoo.com) – World largest diesel engine maker, Cummings has reached an engine project agreement with the development zone in Wuhan, Hubei province, Chinese media reported today.
 
Under the agreement, Cummings will invest $45 million to build an engine project in Whun Development Zone. The project is expected to have a capacity to produce 5,000 engines a year.
 
This is the third project that Cummings has built in Wuhan. The engine maker started a R&D center in 2006 and a fuel plant in 2007.
