China imported 29,600 vehicles in January, up 51.30% y/y

Shanghai. March 13 (Gasgoo.com) – China imported a total of 29,600 vehicles in January, which represents an increase of 51.30 percent from one year earlier, but a decrease of 19.94 percent from one month earlier, according to China Association of Automobile Manufacturers.
 
The total value of vehicles China imported in January reached $998 million, which represents an increase of 43.44 percent from one year earlier, but a decrease of 23.24 percent from one month earlier.
 
China imported a total of 28,400 sedans, SUVs, and light buses in January, which represents 95.95 percent of China’s total vehicle imports in the month.
