Chrysler AG will bring Dodge brand to Chinese market

Dodge brand has announced that it would come to the Chinese market this year. It is reported that Chrysler (China) Sales Ltd. is building up a national Dodge retail network. This year, Chrysler (China) Sales Ltd. will launch the first Dodge in China, including spacious wagon Dodge Grand Caravan and the compact fuel-efficient van Dodge Caliber.

So far, Dodge is a typical brand in North American, more than 90% of its sales concentrate in North America in recent years. Dodge brand series are mainly pickup and SUV in North America. In recent years, Chrysler introduced several Dodge brand compact cars and SUV.

For the first model of Dodge that will come to China market, CEO of Chrysler (China) sales Ltd. Yi Simeng disclosed: "Chinese consumers are uniquely fond of sedan. We are pleased to bring one of the world's most dynamic vehicle brands into the world's most dynamic market."
