High-config Qashqai can be picked by adding 10,000 yuan
Shanghai, June 4 (Gasgoo.com) Dongfeng Nissan Qashqai and Honda CRV still need to be ordered or bought if you pay more. However, prices of both Beijing Hyundai's Tucson and Dongfeng Yuedakia's Sportage are reduced by over 10,000 yuan ($1438), according to news from Beijing auto market.
Though it has been on sale for three months, Qashqai is still in short supply. Two-wheel-drive and four-wheel-drive versions with high configurations need to be ordered two months in advance, and even the model with low configurations needs to be ordered one month earlier. According to a salesperson from a Nissan 4S store, customers can pay an additional 20,000 yuan for decoration or 10,000 yuan in cash to get the existing two-wheel-drive or four-wheel-drive models with high configurations. The model with low configurations can be got by adding 10,000 yuan for decoration or 5,000 yuan in cash; otherwise it need to be ordered.
It is expected that the production of Qashqai will be improved greatly from August to ease the tight supply.
Meanwhile, the CRV, having been on sale for more than one year, has become more expensive. Now only the four-wheel–drive model can be bought by adding 30,000 yuan for decoration. The two-wheel-drive CRV, on sale in March, needs an additional 20,000 yuan for decoration. A dealer of Dongfeng Honda’s 4S store said five months should be needed if no decoration is ordered.
In contrast with hot selling of two Japanese SUVs, the Korean SUV lineup shows a tepid performance. The price of Sportage is down by over 10,000 yuan, and Tucson is also priced 15,000 yuan lower than the list price.
