GWM’s sales volume increases 49% in September, H6 accounting for half with 50,000 units

Gasgoo.com (Shanghai October 11th, 2016) On the night of October 10th, GWM released the production and sales volume report of September 2016, which showed that the total sales volume reached 689,992 units in January to September, increasing 17.61%. Its sales volume in September reached 97,685 units, increasing 48.91%.

In September, GWM sells 87,627 units in SUV market, increasing 59.39% and accounting for 90% of total sales. GWM C30 sells 1,902 units in car market, decreasing 20.18% with the same period of last year. GWM C50 has no sales data in September; therefore cars’ total sales volume declines 48.09% and accounts for less than 2% of the total.

Wingle Pickup has an increasing sales volume of 8,156 units in September, increasing 17.2% and accounts for 8.3% of the total. It’s easy to see that SUVs are more and more important in GWM products, while cars are decreasing in sales and pickups keep steady sales volume.

GWM has a declining inventory. But it’s noticeable that GWM’s importing data still has a bad performance of 1,347 units, declining 53.20%.

Compact SUV H6 ranks champion among all GWM models, selling 53,268 units in September, accounting for more than half of the total volume and increasing 74.49%. H2 sells 20,242 units, increasing 47.15%. It’s the second consecutive month that its monthly sales volume exceeds 10,000 units.

Middle-size SUV H7 sells 5,192 units and H8 has a declining sales volume of only 550 units. H9 sells 1,020 units and increases 58.14%.

In general, GWM has an excellent performance in September, mainly resulted by H6, the Sports Version Model of which may be a great growth point in the future.
