Liu Liang was Appointed as Qoros’s New CEO
Shanghai, March 23rd, Gasgoo - After one-year waiting period, Qoros Auto has appointed its new chairman. On March 21th, Qoros's parent company Kenon Holdings released announcement on its official website that the company's Board of Directors appointed Qoros's former COO Liu Liang as the new CEO.
Qoros sells only 24,188 units in 2016, still lagging behind its annual target of 30,000 to 60,000 units. Its sales volume reaches only 1,217 units in January, decreasing 39.4% year-to-year. The bad performance also results in the frequent change of management team in the past three years.
Liu Liang's appointment is not surprising. The market has put great expectation on Liu Liang, who has 25 years of auto companies' management experience.
