YD Invested 2B to Build its Yinchuan Industrial Park in Ningxia

SHANGHAI April 18th, 2017 Gasgoo – Yinchuan municipal people’s government and BYD Company Limited (“BYD”) held signing ceremony for their cooperative project in Yinchuan city on April 13th, which marked BYD’s Yinchuan Industrial Park will be official built in Minning Industry City of Yongning County, Ningxia city. It was reported that BYD has invested 2 billion yuan for its Yinchuan Industrial Park. The money will be mainly used to build industrial projects like straddle-type monorail and so on, and the annual output value is expected to surpass ten billion yuan after all of the projects are finished.

BYD Company Limited is a bellwether of Chinese new-energy automobile industry, which engages in automobile businesses include oil-fueled vehicles and new-energy cars and actively develop new-energy products like solar power station and energy storage power station with technological advantages of itself. As a private enterprise with advanced technologies which possesses four industrial clusters covering IT, vehicles, new-energy and rail transit domestically, it is also the only company to both have batteries, electrical machines, electronic control and battery charging infrastructures and technology for vehicles.

Mr. Wang Chuanfu, president of BYD, introduced situations like management and development, distribution of businesses and market expanding of the company. He said that, demands for the establishment of monorail mass transit and the popularization of new-energy cars become larger since the development of new-type urbanization was accelerated and stress from urban traffic enlarged, there is a vast potential for future development of green transport and new-energy industry.

As an important node city of “the Belt and Road Initiatives” strategy and an important regional hub city of northwest region, Yinchuan city has a strong emissive power and a broad market. BYD will bring advanced new-energy vehicles and straddle-type monorail technologies to Yinchuan and help both sides achieve a win-win result and transformation and upgrading through cooperation.
