New WEY VV5 hits market, priced from RMB 150,000 to 173,000

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Recently, the updated WEY VV5 hit the market with three new variants. After the improvement in configurations, the WEY VV5 is priced from RMB 150,000 to RMB 173,000.

The new model will be 2.0T DCT two-wheel drive or 2.0T 7DCT four-wheel drive. The appearance remains the same as the existing model, but offers one more color option, teak brown. There is also black-red interior to choose apart from other options.

The new model features air quality system (AQS), Infinity-branded sound system, and intelligent trunk inductive opening system. Besides, the new model is also equipped with autonomous emergency braking system, intelligent cruise assistance, transportation jam assistance, automatic lane keeping.

What’s worth mentioning, the new model also boasts the updated vehicle-to-mobile phone system to support such applications as Carlife, CarPlay and automatic speech recognition in the cloud. Besides, remote control and air-conditioning presetting can be realized via 4G network.

The new model is powered by 2.0T engines, with a maximum output of 197 horsepower and maximum torque of 355 Nm. The engine system is paired with a seven-speed wet dual-clutch transmission system.
