Spy shots of Lynk & Co EX11 exposed
Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Recently, local media managed to get some spy shots of the Lynk & Co-branded all-new seven-seater SUV code-named EX11. The new model, about to be produced in Geely’s Meishan plant, is expected to offer hybrid-electric all-wheel-drive (AWD) system.
The medium- to large-sized SUV is likely to retain Lynk & Co’s typical design with split-type headlamp clusters and flat front grille across the front face to enhance its identification. Slightly sliding lines in the roof improve the car’s visual effect and help provide more spacious inside room. A total of four exhaust pipes on both sides of the rear, together with the rear wing, lend a powerful stance.
Inside the EX11, three-spoke flat-bottom steering wheel and center console screen are similar to those of the Lynk & Co 05. The air vents stretch across the passenger side where there are panels looking muscular as well.
According to the information from the automaker, covering an area of roughly 1,256,000 square meters, the Meishan plant located in Ningbo, Zhejiang involves a total investment of RMB 3.4 billion ($490 million). It is set to manufacture Lynk & Co models based on the SPA (scalable product architecture). In addition, the hybrid AWD powertrain will be tested for three months. It is also said that a medium- to large-sized sedan code-named ES11 is also among three new models to be made in the plant (photo source: Lynk & Co).
