WM Motor’s Founder, Chairman, and CEO Freeman Shen publicly announced the Company’s newest initiatives, reaffirming the Company’s commitment to advancing “...the new era of smart cars, where the core competitiveness of electric vehicles will be in their deployment of smart, connected technology in the cockpit combined with advanced autonomous driving systems.” Freeman laid out WM Motor’s key strategy to maintain its lead in China’s smart mobility space. In the future, WM Motor will take intelligence as the core driver of its development, combining its state-of-the-art vehicle production capabilities with forward-looking smart technology. The result will be products which are ‘Everything Connected’, merging WMs users, vehicles, and the environment into one connected ecosystem.

EX6 Plus 6-seater variant launched
During the Beijing Auto Show, the purchase price for WM Motor’s EX6 Plus 6-seater was officially announced. It will come
in two variants, with the NEX edition starting at RMB ¥279,900, and the Pro edition starting at RMB ¥288,800.
The 2 x 2 x 2 seating layout in the EX6 Plus affectively increases passenger comfort on longer journeys, as the separated
middle seats allow each to have their own space, eliminating the discomfort that can come from hours of sitting shoulder-toshoulder. The flexible second-row seats support various adjustments to maximize comfort and optimize space for everyone on
board, including dual armrests and fully adjustable seating arrangements. The absence of a drive shaft running down the centre
of the vehicle leaves the floor space completely flat, allowing passengers more convenient access to the rear seats.
WM Motor recently released a white paper outlining China's two-child family vehicle purchase trends. WM Motor’s Chief
Growth Officer, Cindy Wang, contributed to the paper, stating that, “more attention should be paid to the transport needs of twochild families. This is a practical problem that China's automotive industry needs to face directly."
The white paper outlines that 81.6% of deposits placed for 6-seater SUV’s in China’s have been placed by two-child families. In terms of the functional requirements of the vehicle, safety coupled with a comfortable spacious seating layout are the most important considerations. Cindy Wang also stated in the report, “as a local brand rooted in China, WM Motor will not only continue to manufacture smart connected vehicle models for the mass market, but will also consider the needs of growing families who will require unique personal and commercial transport solutions.”

Maven concept sedan - the future of China’s user-to-vehicle relationship
WM Motor’s Maven concept sedan made its first offline appearance at the Beijing Auto show. This will be the first WM Motor model to carry the Company’s new technology strategy, with AI deep-learning capabilities and world-leading computing power advantages. Apart from its advanced voice activation capabilities, including 70 natural wake-up and control commands, the smart cabin can also respond to gestures, activating and controlling a range of interior functions. For instance, when the user looks at the central control panel in the car, the system will automatically wake up and anticipate instructions from the user.

WM Motor’s next generation digital platform in the Maven will be equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon's third-generation computer chip, providing CPU and GPU computing power 3 times higher than the industry average. The picture clarity on the dashboard screen and center console is comparable to the newest-generation high-end smartphones, creating a smooth interactive experience. The digital platform will also harness a neural network processor (NPU) with deep-learning capabilities. Physical buttons are entirely removed from the Maven’sinterior, and, when combined with the "transparent" screen design, the overall interior style is very futuristic. Interior colours compliment with light gray, light green and light gold, creating a "light and luxurious" interior texture.

The Maven will be equipped with WM Motor’s L4 valet parking system developed in partnership with Baidu. It will also
harness a 5G smart system developed with Qualcomm, which can provide low-latency multi-gigabit transmission speeds, lanelevel navigation accuracy and integrated V2X solutions, which can better support in-vehicle mobile communications and L4
autonomous driving.
Maven has a comprehensive NEDC range of 800 kilometers. The release of the first production model is targeted for the end
of 2021.
Building Smart Connectivity Through IdeaL4
During the public release of EX6 Plus 6-seater variant, Freeman also introduced WM Motor’s newest product development plan, IdeaL4. IdeaL4 aims to align WM Motor’s future product development with the key emerging technology trends in the industry under the four key elements of;

Intelligent Cockpit: WM Motor is cooperating with Qualcomm to create a world-leading smart digital cockpit. As a first step in the partnership, WM Motor will become the first OEM to start
using Qualcomm’s latest SnapdragonTM chips in its vehicles.
Digital Architecture: A powerful digital architecture will be deployed in WM Motor’s next
generation of cars, which will improve the digital security of the vehicle and increase the processing
speed to allow functionslike autonomous driving and AI to become asfast and accurate as possible.
EIC: Continue to enhance and improve WM Motor’s self-developed, modular e-powertrain
(‘skateboard’) platform.
Autonomous Level 4 Driving Capabilities: WM Motor has partnered with Baidu for Level 3 and Level 4 driverlesstechnology. Their powerful data support and specialized computing platform, combined with WM Motor’s contributions in L4 software development, will enable WM Motor to implement low-speed L4 autonomous-driving capabilitiesin its current models as early as next year.
