Shanghai (Gasgoo)- The Lynk & Co 09, the new SUV model under Chinese car marque Lynk & Co, rolled off the production line a few days ago with its presale prices unveiled at the same time.
According to the carmaker, the model is priced between 270,000 yuan ($41,740) and 350,000 yuan ($54,110) for three MHEV (mild hybrid electric vehicle) trim levels, and between 320,000 yuan ($49,470) and 400,000 yuan ($61,830) for three PHEV (plug-in hybrid electric vehicle) variants in presale.

The Lynk & Co 09 still adopts typical Lynk & Co's signature. The front is easily recognizable thanks to a large-sized straight waterfall grille, which is seamlessly flanked by headlights. The rear has a sporty diffuser design with quad tailpipes and Y-shaped full-width taillights that Lynk & Co said are inspired by the wings of a gull.

Positioned as a full-sized SUV, the Lynk & Co 09 measures 5,042mm long, 1,977mm wide, and 1,780mm tall, and has a wheelbase of 2,984mm. In comparison, the China-made Highlander, a full-sized SUV of GAC Toyota, is 4,965mm long, 1,930mm wide, and 1,750mm tall with a 2,850mm wheelbase.
The Lynk & Co 09 rides on Volvo's SPA (Scalable Premium Architecture), which also underpins the Volvo XC90.
On the inside, the Lynk & Co 09 renders a minimalistic design with features like a flat bottomed three-spoke multifunctional steering wheel, a low-profile dashboard and slim air vents. Lynk & Co says the 09 has six displays, four of which are for the head-up display, console-mounted screen, and instrument cluster for the driver. Customers are allowed to select six- or seven-seater configuration.
Notably, the automaker touts the “supper smart cockpit” it co-developed with Baidu Apollo and ECARX, a Geely-based company focusing on developing smart and connected car technologies. The cockpit used in the Lynk & Co 09 will offer fire new smart voice interaction experience and multiple infotainment services.
The six trim levels will all employ a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine, mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission from Aisin. Maximum power outputs range from 252 PS to 431 PS.
