Porsche recalls 6,072 Taycans in China

Porsche recalled 6,072 imported Taycan electric vehicles manufactured between January 7th 2020 to July 16th 2021. The lock catch wires of the seatbelts on the rear row were improperly arranged on the said vehicles, causing car seats unable to secure in place on the rear-right seats.

China's auto export volume down 6.6% YoY in April

In April, automakers in China shipped a total of 141,000 vehicles to foreign markets, dropping 17.2% from a month ago, and 6.6% year over year. In the first four months of 2022, China's cumulative auto export volume amounted to 723,000 vehicles, jumping 39.4% compared to the year-ago period.
