Lincoln sees China sales rise 19% in June 2022

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Lincoln, the premium car brand of Ford Motor, announced its monthly sales in China reached 8,322 units in June 2022, surging 70% from the previous month, while also jumping 19% from the previous year. It was the highest monthly sales the automaker has so far achieved this year.

For the second quarter of 2022, Lincoln sold a total of 18,215 new vehicles in the world's largest auto market. Including the 19,471 vehicles sold in the first quarter, the premium carmaker saw its China sales exceed 37,000 units in the first half of 2022.

By the end of June 2022, the cumulative sales of the Lincoln Corsair had surpassed 100,000 units in the country.

Lincoln has laid groundwork to speed up a refresh of its product portfolio in China. As the first China-made Lincoln-branded sedan model, the all-new Lincoln Zephyr hit the market in March. Coming with 7 trim levels, the luxury sedan is priced from 252,800 yuan ($37,790) to 340,800 yuan ($50,940). It features an impressive 12.3-inch digital cluster with a 27-inch coast-to-coast touch screen in its cabin, offering a stunning visual impact.

In late May this year, Lincoln officially put the 2022 Lincoln Aviator onto the market, intending to further strengthen its competitiveness in the large-sized luxury SUV segment.
