CATL sets up new energy research institute with 100 million yuan

According to Chinese corporate information inquiry platform Qichacha, CATL (Chengdu) New Energy Research Institute Co., Ltd. was incorporated on August 23, featuring a registered capital of 100 million yuan. Its scope of operations includes R&D of emerging energy technologies, engineering and technical research and experimental development, software development, and more. The company is 100% owned by CATL.
