Four major auto industry zones in Guangxi

Within the next few years, an automobile industrial zone will be set up in Guangxi, southwest of China. Liuzhou will be built as the center, Guilin, Yulin as auto production bases, and extends to Nanning. By 2010, the sales income is expected to reach 68 billion Yuan.

Four major auto industry zones in Guangxi

The function of the four industrial zones: Liuzhou will form into parts center to speed up the development of small and medium-power engines, gearboxes, mini-car gearbox assemblies, axles, interior and exterior ornaments modules, automotive coatings and other products.

The city  of Guilin will accelerate the construction of the tire industry; it will focus on developing light and mid tractor gearbox assemblies, steering assemblies, clutches, brake assembly , engine parts, and other products. Guilin Bus Group is aiming at a major bus production base in southern China.
 
Relying on Yuchai Group, Yulin will develop small diesel engines, heavy truck gearbox assemblies, engine parts, and other products. Yulin is targeting China's largest automotive diesel engine and spare part production bases.

In addition, Nanning (Capital of Guangxi Province) will accelerate the production of sanitation trucks and other special vehicles product: lamps, radiator, aluminum alloy parts and accessories.
