Unique advantages

In-house and self-produced high-performance 1550nm fiber laser: In-house capability highly controls the stability and reliability of components and realizes software and hardware Integration.

Image-level point cloud: Provides 128/256/512 line configurations, measuring point rate can reach up to 6.4 million points per second, accuracy is ±2cm, and realize ultra-fine 3D mapping.

Application

Image-level auto-grade lidar equipped with 1550 nm fiber laser can be used in advanced autonomous driving, ADAS, and can be widely employed in intelligent vehicles, intelligent transportation, low-speed unmanned vehicles, unmanned passenger vehicles, flying cars, unmanned trucks, intelligent mines, intelligent ports, smart cities, rail transport, general aviation, robots, unmanned factories, smart logistics, mapping, security, and other fields.

Prospect

The number of point clouds is an important parameter to evaluate the performance of lidar. Only 1550nm fiber laser lidar can produce similar image-level point cloud effects, and the eye-safe 1550nm lidar can achieve a detection distance of more than 250 meters at a reflectivity of 10%.  In addition, because the beam quality of the fiber laser is high and the divergence angle is small, the point cloud can get good results without too much filtering and noise reduction. 

At the same time, the 1550nm lidar can better solve the tailing and ghosting problems of the 905nm lidar. Therefore, LSLiDAR believes that the 1550nm fiber laser lidar will be the mainstream technical solution used in commercial vehicles and passenger cars in the future.
