Description

Facing the technology upgrade of ADAS industry and the upcoming demand of large-scale mass production of high-level autonomous driving, Freetech's new generation of intelligent navigation assisted driving system is based on the new functions of L2++, through the flexible adaptation of a variety of chips platform solution, more optimized sensor configuration, more intelligent AI fusion algorithm, diversified software ecology, to achieve end-to-end autonomous driving from parking, highway to urban in different conditions. The system will be available for mass production delivery to passenger vehicle in 2022, and can be continuously upgraded through OTA.

Unique advantages

Based on the self-developed ADC domain controller as the software platform, Freetech's cost-effective integrated driving and parking solution uses hardware pre-built, continuous optimization of data and OTA to achieve continuous growth of functions and performance, more anthropomorphic system control, and the system can achieve L2.9 level of highway navigation-assisted driving functions (including lane cruise, automatic on and off ramps, automatic lane change, automatic highway switching, traffic congestion driving, etc.), reducing driving fatigue and making the driving experience more comfortable and safer.

Freetech NOA upgrades the front view camera pixel upgrade to 8M, to improve the recognition accuracy of targets and lane lines in front of this vehicle, improve the longitudinal control performance; in addition, we also upgrade the surround view and rear view camera to support target detection, to bridges the blind spot of detection of close proximity to lane targets and lane lines around the body, which can increase the follow-stop auto-start time, improve the success rate of lane change and safety. 

Freetech adopts self-developed visual perception and fusion algorithm to realize 360° environment perception; provides real-time lane positioning, fuses TSR function to reduce speed-limit false alarms, and also provides lane level rendering display to realize point-to-point navigation assisted driving on highways and urban elevated areas.

Prospect

The current autonomous driving is still in the stage of shared autonomy, and as a transportation vehicle, the car must have the attributes of safe driving and easy driving; it is important to reasonably define the scope of ODD, such as highways, urban roads, underground garages, and realize end-to-end autonomous driving based on scenarios as the common goal of the industry; advanced autonomous driving continuously upgrades and optimizes functions and experiences around scenarios through reliable AI technology to realize the process from auxiliary person to semi-replacement person.

With the trend of software-defined vehicle, the entire automotive ecosystem is undergoing a revolution. The evolution of traditional automotive EE architecture to centralization has given rise to a new service model for information architecture.
