Newlink NaaS, Sinopower HK, Shandong Hi-speed New Energy Group team up to boost low-carbon development

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- On December 20, Chinese charging service provider Newlink NaaS and its subsidiary Sinopower HK joined hands with Shandong Hi-speed New Energy Group in a strategic partnership, marking a commitment to comprehensive cooperation in the new energy sector domestically and internationally.

This collaboration encompasses photovoltaic project development, electric vehicle (EV) charging station construction and operation, smart microgrid system construction, and more, contributing to low-carbon and green development to various regions.

CEO and Founder of Newlink NaaS, Wang Yang, expressed the significance of the collaboration with Shandong Hi-speed New Energy, emphasizing its role in expanding the market footprint for new energy services. The partnership aims to engage deeply in the division of labor and collaboration within the new energy industry, creating replicable and scalable solutions and exemplary cases. The ultimate goal is to contribute to the green transformation of transportation energy, realizing the vision of "bringing green energy to everyone."

Prior to this collaboration, Newlink NaaS and Sinopower HK have been actively involved in constructing various new energy projects. Newlink NaaS constructed the "photovoltaic-energy storage-charging-battery swapping" integrated station prototype project in Anji county, Zhejiang province. This station provides EV charging and battery swapping services for 1,800 heavy-duty trucks and new energy cars in Anji County, incorporating intelligent applications of photovoltaic power generation, energy storage, EV charging, and battery swapping. Sinopower HK has developed the solar power system project at Times Square in Causeway Bay, Hong Kong, with an installed capacity of 55.1 kW, supplying clean and green solar energy to Times Square.

As the first U.S. listed EV charging service company in China, NaaS offers one-stop services for the entire new energy industry chain, including charging station site selection consulting, hardware and software procurement, EPC engineering, operation and maintenance, energy storage, photovoltaics, and automated charging robots. In the third quarter of 2023, it achieved a charging volume of 1.383 billion kWh, accounting for 21.8% of China's public charging volume. As of September 30, 2023, the company has covered over 767,000 charging guns and connected more than 73,000 charging stations.
