Huawei’s technology authorized to Mercedes-Benz, Audi, BMW, Porsche
The head of Huawei's Intellectual Property Rights Department, Fan Zhiyong, said that Huawei reached cooperation in the second half of this year with Mercedes-Benz, Audi, BMW, and Porsche to authorize the carmakers to use Huawei’s automotive technology. According to Mr. Fan, the cooperation means that about 15 million units of the 70 million cars produced globally each year use Huawei’s technology.
