XPeng delivers 9,002 vehicles in April 2022

Beijing (Gasgoo)- China’s electric vehicle startup XPeng delivered 9,002 Smart EVs in April 2022, representing a year-over-year increase of 75%, but a decline of 41.6% compared with the previous month.

The monthly results included 3,714 P7 smart sports sedans, 3,564 P5 smart family sedans, as well as 1,724 G3i and G3 smart compact SUVs.

In the first four months, the automaker delivered 43,563 new vehicles, jumping 135.6% from 18,487 units of the same period of last year.

XPeng said in a statement that it has been and is continuing to actively navigate through the COVID situation, which in turn is affecting the overall supply chain, manufacturing and transportation of automobiles in China. April deliveries reflect its relentless efforts to mitigate the current conditions with support from various authorities and industry partners.
