Tesla Shanghai Gigafactory (Phase I) stage 2-C starts debugging

Tesla saw the stage 2-C of its Shanghai Gigafactory (Phase I) complete construction on June 30th and started debugging on July 22nd. Up to now, the A, B, and C substages of the stage 2 construction have all been completed and put into production. The stage 2- substage C is reportedly the R&D center that Tesla built in Shanghai.

XPeng applies trademarks for Robotaxi

According to the Chinese corporate database Qichacha, XPeng has registered several trademarks for intelligent mobility services, such as XPENG ROBOTAXI, XPeng Intelligent Aviation ("Zhihang" in Chinese), and XPeng Smart Mobility ("Zhixing" in Chinese) in the categories of means of transportation, transportation and storage, as well as design and research. As the company previously disclosed, it would launch a Robotaxi service in Guangzhou for pilot operation in the second half of 2022.
