Kia plans to launch a mid-to-long-term new energy vehicle strategy dedicated to the Chinese market on March 20. At the launch event, Kia’s all-new full-electric concept model, the EV5, will make its world’s debut. Its mass-produced version will be produced and sold in China in the future.

CATL, FAW Jiefang build joint venture

Jiefang Contemporary Amperex Technology Limited (“Jiefang CATL”) was incorporated in early March as a 50/50 joint venture between CATL and FAW Jiefang.
