Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Sales of the Tharu amounted to 7,867 units, down 43 % year on year, the first on January, 2026 sales ranking of Compact SUVs from Germany's brands, according to the January sales data of the China Passenger Car Association. Sales of the BMW X1 amounted to 5,864 units, up 40 % year on year, ranking second on the list while its YTD sales totaled 5,864 units. January sales of the VS5 reached 4,284 units, decreasing 13 % year on year and ranking third on the list while its YTD sales were 4,284 units. (Note: Sales data here includes that of locally-made cars, SUVs and MPVs.)
